EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING
I help kids and adults reconnect with what matters through life’s hardest moments.
My therapy approach is compassionate yet matter-of-fact, because we shouldn’t spend time on things unrelated to your goals. I partner with you to build a foundation of trust and safety so that we can take our time when we need to and push ourselves when we don’t. I use the therapy relationship as a tool for healing: our interactions will lead to new insights and skills for you to develop a life aligned with your goals and values.
With a doctorate in clinical psychology and a master’s in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, I am uniquely qualified to work with religion/spirituality - including religious trauma - when requested. I also developed expertise in early psychosis through my training at the UCLA Center for the Assessment and Prevention of Prodromal States (CAPPS). Additionally, I have supported many teens and adults through trauma, depression, and anxiety through my training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Native American organizations in the Midwest.
Overall, my work has taught me that everything and everyone can experience healing no matter what has happened to us. I hope to be part of that experience for you.
Fee: $275 per individual session
“I am a neurodiversity- and gender-affirming clinician who recognizes how culture and marginalization impact well-being. I am committed to growing in anti-oppressive practice and serving Asian American communities. Outside of psychology, I love cancelled plans, hot takes, and spooky season."”
