TESTING & ASSESSMENT

Erin provides psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults and conducts psychological testing. She approaches her work with deep curiosity, sincerity, and hope. Her clients describe her as warm, non-judgmental, and empowering, and often appreciate her use of metaphors and humor to make complex experiences more understandable and approachable. Erin believes that change begins with feeling deeply understood and grows through a collaborative therapeutic relationship that supports clients in stretching beyond familiar patterns.

Erin specializes in working with individuals navigating anxiety, OCD, neurodiversity (ADHD and autism), trauma, eating disorders, chronic medical illness, caregiver stress, relationship and family concerns, and longstanding patterns of shame, self-criticism, perfectionism, and obsessive thinking. She has a particular interest in helping people who have spent years being hard on themselves develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves.

As an integrative psychologist, Erin balances insight-oriented approaches with practical strategies. Her work draws from humanistic, psychodynamic, attachment, and feminist perspectives to understand how relationships and broader systems have shaped present experiences. She recognizes that insight alone isn’t always enough and therefore thoughtfully integrates experiential and behavioral interventions to help clients tolerate difficult emotions and practice new, adaptive ways of responding to challenges.

Erin earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology and her Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University. She is committed to remaining a lifelong learner, continually integrating emerging research into her psychotherapy and psychological testing practices.

“I approach therapy with sincerity and hope. My clients have described me as warm, non-judgmental, and empowering, and have expressed appreciation for my use of metaphors and humor in our work together. As an integrative psychologist, I balance insight-oriented therapeutic approaches with practical strategies.”
