Helping Your Child Face Anxiety With Confidence

Help your child feel braver, without giving in to fear.

When children struggle with anxiety, parents often step in to help – staying close, offering reassurance, or avoiding stressful situations. These responses come from love, but over time, they can unintentionally make anxiety stronger.

In this one-hour interactive workshop, you’ll discover an alternative, supportive way to respond to your child’s anxiety. Based on the SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) model developed by Dr. Eli Lebowitz at Yale University, this approach helps parents reduce their child’s anxiety without the child needing to be in the therapy room.

What You’ll Learn

  • Why anxiety persists even when we try to help

  • The difference between supporting and accommodating your child

  • A simple communication shift that encourages bravery and confidence

  • How the upcoming SPACE Parent Group can help your family make lasting changes
