Welcome to For Women By Women, where hot flashes meet higher wisdom and the only thing we take seriously is your growth and maybe snacks. Co-led by a seasoned psychologist and an experienced meditation teacher, this group offers a much-needed pause from busy, over scheduled lives.

Through guided meditation, mindfulness, and shared reflection, we’ll calm our nervous systems, create space to rest, and reconnect with the steady center that guides us through life’s ups and downs.

Talya is a clinical psychologist licensed in New York and Connecticut. She works with adults, adolescents, children and families struggling with a variety of emotional, behavioral and relational challenges. Talya utilizes an integrated therapeutic approach to treat the specific needs of the individuals she works with - incorporating psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, family systems, and mindfulness interventions.

Cheryl Vigder Brause is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of 2bpresent. She has a degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and a law degree from New York University School of Law. She has had many roles in her life (corporate litigator, investment banker, among them), but her most challenging and most rewarding job yet — mother of three children. The fast-paced and high stress of life in the corporate world and as a busy parent led her to look for ways to slow down, find more peace each day and be more present for her life.
