Emily (she/her) is a postdoctoral fellow at Impact Psychology who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She focuses on building supportive and understanding relationships where clients feel safe to share their stories, cultivate self-confidence, and discover new pathways forward in their life's journey.

Her therapeutic approach is flexible, guided by each individual's needs, and is rooted in trauma-informed principles. Emily's style is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on what matters most to each individual or family. She has extensive experience helping clients navigate trauma, mood, and anxiety disorders, as well as concerns with identity development, self-image and confidence, and relationship stress. Emily is especially passionate about working with neurodivergent and/or queer individuals and their families. She values creating spaces where all people feel like they can be their authentic selves, and be met with acceptance and respect.

Emily utilizes a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches, including evidence-based play therapy when working with children. She has trained in varied settings, including Yale New Haven Hospital, the Child Guidance Center of Southern CT, and the Wheeler Clinic, providing individual and group services across the lifespan. She earned her doctorate from the University of Hartford, with a focus on Children and Adolescents. Clients and families often remark on her down-to-earth, nonjudgmental approach and appreciate her balance of warmth, kindness, and ability to cultivate insight-driven change.

Fee: $250 per individual session

"My goal is to provide a nonjudgmental, compassionate therapeutic space where individuals and families can access the tools, insight, and confidence to navigate stress, transitions, and challenges."
